Helping an early-stage startup shape both its product experience and visual identity.

Aligned approached us at a very early stage with an initial product idea and a need for stronger visual foundations. The project combined early product exploration with creating the company’s first visual identity — including the logo, visual assets, and the overall look and feel that would later support the product, website, and investor-facing materials.
One of the main challenges was helping the founders establish a visual identity that felt confident, approachable, and clear without going through a long branding process. Like many early-stage startups, they needed practical visual foundations they could quickly use across product screens, presentations, marketing materials, and future company assets.
At the same time, we also helped shape the product’s early direction through initial workflows, feature exploration, and first product screens that helped visualize the product experience.

The project started by defining the company’s first visual assets and overall interface direction. The founders wanted the product and visual identity to feel approachable, confident, and easy to engage with, which guided decisions around typography, colors, logo design, and interface styling.
Alongside the visual work, we explored the earliest product structures and feature ideas through a series of initial product screens. Rather than building a complete product system, the process focused on helping the founders better understand how the product could look, function, and communicate value at an early stage.
The project helped give the company both an early product direction and a polished visual foundation they could immediately build on. The visual identity and initial product assets became the basis for future product design, marketing materials, presentations, and the company’s broader digital presence.
The project established the visual and product foundations for future expansion, giving the founders a strong visual language and early product assets they could continue building on as the company evolved.
